The Juneau Chapter of Trout Unlimited, in partnership with the state office that opened in Juneau in 2005, is rebuilding and expanding. Our goals are to protect and improve fishing opportunities in the Juneau area and to educate the public about these efforts. Currently, our priority project is Montana Creek, and we will continue to focus on maintaining the recreational and educational values of this unique and important local watershed. At the same time, we are investigating other opportunities related to protecting local watersheds, improving fisheries regulations and involving TU members and the public in these growing efforts.
